Pricing questions
What counts as an accession?
An accession is one sample registered in Beak LIMS and given a laboratory sample ID. Several tests on the same sample count as one accession. Your agreement defines metering precisely.
What happens if we go over our monthly accessions?
We let you know and talk through moving to the next plan. Service does not stop mid-month because of the excess.
What does the implementation fee cover?
Provisioning your hosted environment, standard configuration of your test catalogue, users and report template, setup of your included instrument connections, and remote training for administrators and key users.
How does annual billing work?
Pay for twelve months up front and save 10% on the subscription. Implementation fees and add-ons are billed separately.
Can we keep our existing instruments?
Usually, yes. We review each analyzer's model, protocol, interface type and test mapping during discovery before confirming the connection.
Can we host Beak LIMS on our own servers?
Yes, under an Enterprise agreement. On-premise, customer cloud and dedicated infrastructure are scoped and quoted separately.
Can we migrate our old records?
Yes. Historical data migration is a separately scoped service, priced against the size and format of your existing data.
Are taxes included?
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes and local statutory charges, which are shown on your quote.
Who owns our data?
You do. Your laboratory data remains yours and can be exported in standard formats.
